AWS Cloud Engineer Contract Jobs
Duration : 6 months
Location : Dallas, TX
Visa Preference : USC, GC, H4, L2 EAD’s.
Job Responsibilities:
· Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed
· Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions in AWS.
· Proficient in designing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
· Understanding of cloud automation and orchestration tools and techniques including Git & Azure DevOps.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
· Experience with one or more configuration management systems such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
· Automation of infrastructure as code using git, CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, Terraform.
· Troubleshooting and supporting containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
· Ensuring efficient data storage and adherence to security policies
· Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
· Provide technical oversight, review and quality control throughout the life cycle of the implementations.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Preferably Certified AWS Certified Sysops Administrator
· 3+ years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer with following key skills:
1. Disaster Recovery and High Availability skills with AWS needed
2. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
3. AWS Networking/ECS/EC2/Network/IAM, CLI, & best practices
4. DevOps practices and CI/CD Development
5. Git based development
6. Systems administration – Windows or Linux
Other Qualifications:
1. Strong presentation and written communication skills.
2. Work successfully as part of an onshore/offshore technical team to successfully implement the required solution
