Infrastructure Engineer Contract jobs long term in Washington, DC – Hybrid

IBM Infrastructure Engineer 
Location: Washington, DC – Hybrid
Duration: 6 months

Visa: GC/USC
Interview Process: Skype

Client Need: Candidate Must be in DMV, or WV locations. 1x per week onsite during the first few months in DC or Reston Office. Once comfortable, 1x per quarter onsite is all that required.

Required Skills:
1.    -5+ years has an Infrastructure Engineer with strong IBM technology stack with prior expertise installing servers from inception to completion. Ability to provide Health check status reporting and able to identify/resolve any infrastructure production issues
2.    -Prior experience working with IBM vendors
3.    Extensive knowledge of MQ Series
4.    Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experience
5.    Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues (networking R&S, Firewalls, Etc-)
6.    -Basic knowledge around Bitbucket and AWS Cloud
7.    Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical)
8.    Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions
9.    Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs
10.    Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical)
11.    Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers and vendors (Critical)
12.    Strong analytical and documentation skills
