Job Title: Technician II (Lab Technician)

1st Shift: 8am-5pm (M-F) 

Duration: 12 months

Location: Raleigh, NC 27616

Pay Rate: $36/hrs.

Description:

Lab Technician

A. Essential functions include but are not limited to:

# Lab Organization

 

• Manage and maintain lab equipment, instruments, and tools (e.g., hand and power tools)
• Lab cleaning

# Building and testing prototype devices

• Construct, test, and repair prototype devices under test, including cables and connectors
• Troubleshoot prototype devices using documentation and inputs from design engineers
• PCBA rework and soldering
• Experience building and testing high-voltage and high-power electronics test fixtures a plus

B. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience
• Understanding of power lab equipment and power lab safety
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Documentation skills
• Collaborative working style and team-player attitude
• Good organization skills
• Good oral communication skills
